05/08/2020 – COVID-19 Announcement

Dear Sun Peak Homeowner,
The Utah Leads Together Plan and the Summit County Health Officer issued Health Order 2020-05 which lays out the three-phases to the COVID-19 (coronovirus) pandemic response. As of May 1, 2020 Utah, entered the Stabilization Phase. The Stabilization Phase transitions into an effort to mitigate the spread of the virus, while simultaneously re-activating the economy step-by-step.

The Sun Peak Board of Directors (SPBOD), Managers and the Association’s Attorney have examined the guidelines to determine the best next steps for our Sun Peak Community. In order to comply with the various State and County regulations, the Association would need to assign a Safety Officer to ensure that sanitizing product, proper signage, proper behavior and activities going on are following all public health orders. Sun Peak facility operations do not allocate funds to support a Safety Officer and would require an increase in the 2020 annual dues. Therefore, until further notice, the Sun Peak common area facilities will remain closed until further notice.

We appreciate your support during this pandemic. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Teresa Wharton at 435-640-5857.

Warm Regards,
Teresa Wharton and Senta Beyer
