2023 Sun Peak annual meeting continuance election results

The annual meeting was again called to order at 3:03 p.m., Friday December 15, 2023. As part of this meeting, it was announced that the new board will consist of incumbents Van Novack, Abby Goldsmith, Meta Haley, and newly elected directors Joop Grevelink, June Volk, Cole Capener and Rob Heck. The newly elected directors will serve 2 year terms. The meeting was adjourned at 3:20 p.m. The board would like to thank all community members that participated in the annual meeting and election process.

Sun Peak Management Update

Bill Riley of Elevated Property Management,has been in the homeowners association and property management business in Park City for 21 years, Bill lives in the Snyderville Basin. 

Upon the announcement that Peak Property Management Group, Teresa Wharton and Senta Beyer were resigning from the property management business, the Sun Peak Master Board of Directors solicited bids for the management of Sun Peak. The Board received proposals from five management firms, and interviewed four of the available applicants. After much consideration it was decided Bill Riley with Elevated Property Management Group is the best fit for the Sun Peak Master HOA.

Sun Peak Master HOA Pool Closing

The Sun Peak Pools will close Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 8:00 pm for the season. It was a successful pool season, it seems like the use increased and everyone was excited about the remodel. Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide feedback regarding the improvements.

Sun Peak Court Update

The Sun Peak Courts will remain open until the weather changes to cold and possible snow, we will remove the wind screens in October.

Phase II Courts Remodel. As many of you know the courts need to be replaced. The courts committee has been working on design concepts, the DRAFT plan is available at the following link for your review HERE. Please send your comments to sunpeakpc@gmail.com. Open houses to discuss the design will be scheduled at a future date once the reserve study is complete and cost estimates have been received. Meeting dates to be announced.

Mountain Regional Water Incentives

Mountain Regional Water recently announced an incentive program to replace landscaping to reduce water usage in Summit County. Please visit https://www.mtregional.org/landscape-incentive-program for more information on how you can save water. Sun Peak has initiated the process with Mountain Regional to participate in the program, DRAFT plans to xeriscape the common area; around the clubhouse, courts and outside the pool area will be created for consideration. Updates will be sent once available.
